Resurrection Day

There are places within us that feel too broken, too dark, too far gone. Grief can take us there…especially the kind that comes from losing someone like Michael. The kind that hits so deep, it feels like time should stop to acknowledge the weight of it.

But the beauty of Resurrection Day is this: even the darkest tomb could not hold back the light.

God specializes in resurrection… not just of bodies, but of hearts, hope, joy, and purpose.

Even in the ache of loss, even when the world feels hollow, joy still comes in the morning.

Not because the grief is gone,

but because He enters into it with us…

restoring what feels shattered,

breathing life into what we thought had died,

and reminding us that this story isn’t over.

Michael may be gone from this world, but love never ends.

And neither does the power of the One who defeated the grave.

So today, I hold the grief and the joy together.

I honor the pain,

but I cling to the promise…

Resurrection is real.

And even here, in the shadows, light is rising.
