In life you can be subject to injustice because of someone else’s choices. But how you behave in those injustices speaks volumes of your heart. You can choose to retaliate, or you can choose to take the high road. Grace given in the most unjust times can be difficult but so rewarding. I’ve watched Michael time and time again chose God’s way and God’s love time and time again. Building boundaries yet giving all the room in the world for God to work. It’s been most rewarding to have a front row seat watching this in motion. It’s like seeing a Godly love here on earth in human form.

But being subject to the injustice of suffering, whew that’s so hard. Watching someone you love suffer is hard. So very hard. In this season I’ve asked why him? And his answer is Why not me?  It’s unfair and feels so unjust. However, Michael still humbled himself and said why not me? This man. He's the best example to us and our kids on how to behave in difficult circumstances. We both trust the Lord in this season despite what we are feeling and seeing with our eyes. He has endured so gracefully. I can’t say enough positive things about this man. The legacy he is laying for all of us has me speechless most days.

I said today that in our 14 years together we have sure packed a lifetime of memories. I am believing for a miracle and more years to come. Michael changed my life and he’s already my miracle.  He is a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend. I have countless stories of how he has impacted and changed people’s lives. His legacy is one of faith, encouragement, leadership, wisdom, grace and love. I have had a front row seat of this for years. He has what it takes and I am so proud to be his wife.

Don’t waste time. Love on your people and never stop.
